No, we don't need more coming in. We have been pouring them into the west for more than 30 years. It's a bad idea to keep it going for another 50 or 100 years or God knows how long. They should stay home and build their country. It reflects very badly on the ones already here. Why would we want a community constantly experiencing the challenges of being "refugees" instead of being a fully integrated one? This is why the community is seen in a negative light.

How about you first educate yourself on the issues we go through and then ask these politicians what steps they are taking to address these issues like drought, famine, Al shabaab, food insecurity, water scarcity and when discussing water scarcity we cannot avoid asking these politicians wether they aware that Ethiopia has dammed the Genale River that is the source of our two precious rivers Juba and Shabelle. what crime does refuges cause apart from fraud? the murders and drug dealing is completly caused by your gen. When Somalis came to the west they wasnt known as criminals that reputation you caused yourself.

That’s not the only investment alot people has gone back home and started different production companis however the house cost money, the workers back home get paid , the materials is bought from a company n the family back home get a weeekly check very important for the Somali economy if you been in Mogadishu ud see how much diaspora money is flowing arnd same with eastleigh literally building wealth back home.

if those black group was seen in good light they wouldnt be screaming blm and talkin ab racism everyday, ffs even their succesful footballers face it! immigrants like armenian n jews can blend in you wont no matter how hard you work just keepin it real with you.

The crime here is done mostly by Somali kids not born in Canada. The ones who are in the projects are new arrivals from the last 0-15 years.

Those black groups do not align themselves with BLM. It's largely the Somalis among the immigrant groups who do. That's an African American movement.

The money they are sending are remittances and making many people in Somalia lazy who refuse to do what they regard as lowly work to make a living. Very few even start corner stores to be honest. Large investments are the exception and mostly done by well to do Somalis living in Somalia/Kenya/Middle East.

Sorry, I won't feel like a victim while living here. I have never been discriminated against by them. If you want to see discrimination, there are plenty of Somali communities outside of the west who experience what discrimination is. Or look within your own community to see how many Somalis are discriminated against because of their clan. I don't want to see clan discrimination in Canada. I have seen clan minorities get discriminated here . I don't want your shitty culture here never disappearing generation after generation.
