Somalis also have this problem. But when Somalis claim an age they are mostly off by 5 years. Which is not that much.
I tried to change my birthday when I became a US citizen. The year is correct but I wasn’t born first of January lol it is annoying

It is not a fob thing. It is more like after qax kids. I don’t know my birthday because I was born in Kenya after 1991 civil war. However; my father knows his birthday. He has a birth certificate from the Italian Somaliland administration
