It's clear she feels strongly about being an ex-Muslim based on how her reasons for leaving involve going against "Arab-centrism" which line up with her already deep-rooted BLM Xalimo views. But still chose to hide the gaal side of herself, despite the two being intrinsically linked to each other like you already pointed out.
