And when Obama was president, he appointed Yamamoto as a Deputy Secretary of State for African Affairs (2nd highest ranked US diplomat for Africa). You know who Obama’s VP was right lol.

What I’m saying is career diplomats are above partisan politics. Political appointed diplomats are not. 2/3 of ambassadors are career diplomats and 1/3 are political appointments.
