That is like bragging about getting another man out of your house which he was occupying illegally. The USC was in Gedo for many months, the other place you are talking about is called Buurdhubo.

Keydmedia Exclusive: Siad Barre's Private residence after his ouster 1992 - Buurdhuubo
What do you call merahan coming into
galkayo and evicting them:russ:

That is a might. Most of the Galkacyo fighters were Leelkase and some MJ. If Marehan could evict USC they wouldn't lose Galinsoor in 1992. :manny:
No they weren't lel kase yes a little but mj no if they could they wouldn't lost it to begin:mjlol:
Anybody in the south know the story :russ:
It was mainly central merahan:cryinglaughsmiley:

Since when did Marehan settle in Galkacyo? in order for them to fight there (they must have a deegaan there).

The place you are talking about is Cabuudwaaq district, Galgaduud.

Your not from the south that's why you do not know
This is an Washington post article from 93
The main front line in the ongoing, low-level war in central Somalia is the town of Gaalkacyo. The home town of Somalia's premier warlord, Mohamed Farah Aideed, it is in the hands of a rival warlord, who is the military leader of the Marehan faction recently loyal to ousted dictator Mohamed Siad Barre. The Marehan militia calls itself the Somali National Front and is commanded by Mohamed Said Hersi Morgan, Siad Barre's son-in-law and a former defense minister under him. Aideed's United Somali Congress militia and Morgan's force engage in periodic skirmishes around Gaalkacyo -- facing off with tanks and artillery in hit-and-run grabs for territory.

For Aideed, this battle is personal. The central region is the traditional area of his Habr Gedir faction, and he is fighting to reclaim territory he sees as rightfully his. For the Marehan, the battle is over survival. Members of the faction fear a victorious Aideed would continue to sweep north into their traditional territory, and they are trying to hold the line at Gaalkacyo.
I wonder how your gonna

@Bohol Galmudugers are still complaining that their heavily armed mooryaans got kicked out of Gedo. They wanted to make it a Hawiye colony. It was all of Hawiye vs a couple of sub clans of Marehans and we won in the end. Like @Starscream said, you're on about the half time score. There's literally no Hawiye in Gedo, so why would you act like they won?

Yh that is odd. During the civil war in south Somalia if you were Isaaq you were given a safe passage to Beledweyne then Gashaamo via
Somaliland. If you were Darood though R.I.P.

Some Isaaq were attacked and extorted in Hiraan, majority however passed left scout free

@Bohol @Foreman

How did majority isaaq end up in Europe and North America

Darood are big in NA as majority of your refugees were settled in Kenya and from there embarked a journey to US/Canada

Isaaq refugees fled to the Gulf during period between 88-96 and from there to Europe. There is no large Isaaq community in North America from what I gather. Before the war however there was sizable Isaaq diaspora in the Gulf and Europe.

Some sub clans have seen the signs on the wall and left before the war breakout. Among HJ Adan Madobe with large diaspora network left to the Gulf and Europe. HY had big Muuse Carre community abroad. From HA you had Nuux Isaaciil and Jibiril Abokor. To this day majority of Isaaq diaspora hail from those sub clans.

They're close to the border, hence the confusion. :manny:

Majority of Ugadhyaan in Sool appose SL, no?

Naayle Axmed trash ballot box in Xudun and cancel @Bohol folks vote in Xudun district :russ:

They only disrupted the polls in Xudun town they can never dare to attack Bohol though. It is just last time the Somaliland electoral commission made the mistake of taking the boxes to Xudun town first in 2010 instead of Bohol. Nowadays Bohol is the de facto capital of Xudun district.

Sacad Yoonis polling stations in Xudun district.

1.829 Bohol A
2.931 Bohol B
3.831 Doclaha
4. 833 Saba-Wanaag
5.834 Ceel-la-Heley

Bohol and the areas that come under it will deliver WADANI. :samwelcome:
