He also said how his constituency (awdal) gets positions within the government blocked from them purely because they reject the corruption of Hassan Sheikh.

This fellow is from Gabiley like Bayle. It's pointless to try to keep your hands clean from corruption if you involve yourself in politics, especially in Villa Somalia. It's best they give in to the corruption and get their shares. It's not like it matters to us anyway.

The shares will be more plentiful if you put money where it belongs, you’ll be wealthy physically and spiritually. Seeing the money go into the correct sectors. Looting health, environment, security, etc. will only guarantee Ethiopian and Kenyan lordship over us.

What is the point if they'll just get sacked and replaced for doing so?

They should stay quiet and become complicit in the looting. I would condone it a 100%. These pretentious PhD holders (Abdullahi and Cilmi) who think whistle blowing will change a thing are just setting themselves up to lose. It's not a first world country with transparency, accountability, and established legal frameworks.

FGS corruption does no harm because the entire budget is basically wages and spending on "goods & services" in Banadir. The FGS spends almost nothing on development, its pretty much all recurrent expenditure. Stealing money does no harm to anyone in Somalia.

The dude actually started on evidence about what he did for regions outside his own immediate clan. That's how all leaders should talk before saying their wadanis.

We want evidence based proof and actions you took that prove your a true nationalist rather then empty words and singing songs. You will find the true amount of nationalist with evidence is very few. The nationalist who are all talk however are plenty but not a single deed or action backs their nationalism.

I respect the honest men, Allah will reward them more than what they'll get through corruption.

Gobonimada ayaa uu diidaysa lakiin you do have a point. Same thing happened with Yussur Abrar former Central Bank governor and also Bayle.

Let us do the maths:
  • $450,000 for a 4-day trip:
    • $112,500 a day.
  • He has been on 63 trips abroad since he took office, let us assume each trip was for 3 days, in reality some take longer incl. UAE, which translates to an aggregate of 189 days, which further computes to a whopping $21,262,500 USD (twenty one million+) for just trips abroad since Jun. 2022.
  • According to Dr Abib, the nation's actual annual revenue is 200 million, that is 11% of the total annual budget.

Now, we know the PM hardly travels, but if he spends $150,000 for a half an hour trip outside of Xamar, then how much does he spend on longer trips?

Correction:
76 trips abroad (adding on 2024 trips), 228 days, at 112,500 a day, 25.6 million, 13% of the annual budget.

SOMALIA PROJECTS UNDER PROBE AS WORLD BANK DEBARS AUDITORS ERNST & YOUNG LLP, KENYA FOR CORRUPTION

After numerous corruption, nepotism, and education and experience misrepresentation related complaints of World Bank Somalia projects, the World Bank’s Integrity Vice Presidency finally goes after auditors Ernst & Young Kenya office responsible for audits of World Bank Somalia projects.

In a press release issued today, the World Bank Group (WBG) debars Kenya-based Ernst & Young LLP (EY Kenya) for a period of 30 months. Ernst & Young provides various financial and technology services, including assurance, tax, consulting, advisory, and information technology. β€œThe debarment is in connection with sanctionable practices as part of the Somali Core Economic Institutions and Opportunities Program (SCORE) and the Second Public Financial Management Capacity Strengthening Project (PFM II) in Somalia,” the World Bank stated on today’s press release.

The World Bank added, β€œSCORE was designed to improve the enabling environment for private and financial sector development and catalyze private investment and job creation. PFM II aimed to establish and strengthen systems of domestic revenue mobilization, expenditure control, and accountability in the Federal Government of Somalia, Puntland State of Somalia, and Somaliland State.”

As to the failings of Ernst and Young and their knowledge and facilitation of the corrupt practices of Somalia officials, the World Bank stated that β€œEY Kenya failed to disclose a conflict of interest during the selection and implementation of four contracts under the SCORE and PFM II projects, and the involvement of an agent in those contracts.”
