That animal was in it's adolescence, but you can clearly see the thing on the side of the mouth. The tusks grows out from there. But man, i understand your frustration, those people were hilarious savages. But my answer still stands, i would kill the animal regardless. Not in that fashion though.

It is inhumane how this mob is attacking and killing the warthogs. However, we don't know the background of this story. There has been controversial warthogs hunting for tourists who hunted and killed them as trophy animals and paid thousands of dollars in South Africa. If there is a warthogs population explosion which harms the environment, they could've organised a humane way of culling them. Australia has a controversial program in controlling the numbers of camels in the wild and we are culling them by air and land.

Yep, it’s big business now, hunters are hiring helicopters to kill them. They are generously compensated by the government and the camels are regarded as pests because they are turning the fragile eco system of the semi-arid land between south Australia and west Australia into a waste barren land.

Killing these animals should be as a last resort and only if they are immediately endangering lives or a planned culling by the experts if they are harming the environment.. Why kill the tigers? Every animal plays a major important role in our eco-system, we humans are the only ones hell bent in destroying it.
