On the issue of why people tahriib, you're dancing around the root causes that contribute to the agony our people back home face. It is the lack of effective government and the absence of national institutions that contribute to despair and neglect.

What makes Xaliye so not entertaining is that he is in Africa, a continent which doesn't have the greatest track record when it comes to women's rights (mostly due poverty and lack of education) combined with women not having a lot of opportunities to actually be financially independent. So what more does Xaliye truly want?

But most of us don’t live back home tho, there are a large amount of diaspora men that watch him, and everything he says is on point. These women like to take advantage of us, and some of us had to learn that the hard way. But if Xaliye is makin the younger ones aware of this, I welcome it. Women getting resentful and spewing hateful comments against xaliye just proves he is exposing their dirty tactics and they can’t stand it.

The average Somali guy raised in the West doesn't go around buying really expensive gifts unless the girl is at least his fiancee. And if he is, that is his problem. You only have yourself to blame if you're an average guy giving $1000 to a girl you're not officially with.

There was no discussion about Westerner; he was talking about the qalin-shubato, specially old ones like you.
