We weren't even allowed to make toast. There are mothers who genuinely love doing housework and find meaning in doing everything for their family without ever complaining. If I tried to make my bed, she would go in and make it better. 60+ hooyos are very traditional.

Exact opposite for me. I regularly get my Hooyo phone chargers and other items two feet away from her. I've been cooking by myself ever since I was 13 outside of ramadan

I live with my mom and brothers so I cook and clean sometimes

But that's just for my hooyo so it's different. I wouldn't do that for a wife
