Part of it is the mans fault... he should keep up with his appearance haircuts on a bi-weekly basis, stay clean and smelling good... lift weights... brush and oil the beard... brush teeth twice daily.... do things with your wife, take her to the park, maybe a road trip to visit other family, go out to eat a good halal restaurant, etc....

True it doesn't end. But it goes both ways saxib. One of the biggest reasons for divorce is due to feelings of neglect and it literally trickles down to every part of the relationship. Sometimes women stop being effectionate after the 1st yr of marriage as they become mothers ect. Men stop giving attention as they become used to their partners and they might have work obligations. Then you have a toxic situation with a woman feeling neglected, a husband feeling as though the wife isn't caring or affectionate anymore ect.

The happiest couples are the ones that understand that marriage is work. But you'll appreciate it as i'm sure not many things compare to being with someone that loves you enough to put in effort and vise versa.

That’s the whole point of courtship though, to prove you’ll take care of her and the family even throughout the marriage.
