What side is there to look at, if he's lacking in hygiene, isnt this sometimes that needs to be addressed between the two, i mean it could be he's depressed, there are a number of reasons why people quit taking care of themselves. The idea that one should destroy a relationship with a child in it for either reasons atleast without trying to find a solution between the two is incredibly careless and self destructive.
