XALIMO in the UK appeals to the bleeding heart of the cadaans using FGM BS. Her nostril is pierced and heaven knows where else is pierced.

There have been numerous studies on this, what I’m saying isn’t based on opinion but facts. Here is the results of one study

Attitude toward female genital mutilation among Somali and Harari people, Eastern Ethiopia:

“The findings showed that there was a strong support for the continuation of the practice among female discussants in Somali region, whereas male discussants from the same region and the majority of the participants from Harari region had a positive attitude toward the discontinuation of the practice.“

Somali men need to continue our campaign against Somali women who want to harm our daughters and ruin their lives. @Angelina i don’t know about your views on this subject given the fact studies show most females support fgm, but if you are indeed one of the rare female against it, you need to start changing the views of your female relatives who are statistically likely to support it.
Yes and WHEN did they start having these positive attitude towards it? WHO brought it to their attention?

Absolutely, Somali men have always been against the practice. It’s always been the Xalimos doing this to themselves and their kin.

Nothing worse than a starfish Somali woman in bed Audubilah

Somali sheikhs, who taught that FGM was haram. Before that, we were ignorant and Somali men love their wives and thought they would be looking out for their daughters best interests which isn’t true anymore. Young men didn’t like it because they realised that intimacy isn’t as good.

There needs to be a discourse on why Somali women keep harming their daughters. It’s unacceptable.

No, we've been muslim for a thousand years. We had scholars ect, yet for some reason they never ever used to talk about it. But FGM only become a talking point during the 90s when Western Somalis started to shed light on it.

FGM historically was for men and only benefited men. Any article, study or even our oral culture makes it clear. Historically an uncircumcised woman was seen as unmarriiage and a ****. The men would refuse to marry her. Its only been in the last 30 years have the men started to change their mind and its mosly the deeply religious and the younger generations.

There is a youtuber back home or asks the men back home what their opinion of FGM is. The older, traditional ones basically agreed and thought it was shameful that girls don't get it done, whilst the young men were mostly against it.

Furthermore, it was a Western Somali girl that convinced PM Sharmake to ban it, although Somalis being Somalis aren't going to take such a legislation seriously.

We were not practicing Muslims before modernisation, Reer Badiye nomads knew the basics of religion but weren’t religious. Sheikhs did not have that much of an influence on nomads in the past.

Stop the cap, I just showed you a study that stated very clearly men are against it, women support it. Not your fairytales about random youtubers who were probably paid by Westerners, but an actual study that interviews hundreds of people in Eastern Ethiopia among Hararis and Somalis. The fact you deny this and believe some random YouTuber that your hesitant to post shows your bias.

This rhetoric that Westerners are saving Muslim women is imperialistic and dates back to colonial age, when the French wanted to “liberate” North African Muslim women from their hijab.

I never denied that NOW men are more against it. But you'd be a straight up liar to say that FGM wasn't historically for men and that women who did not engage in FGM were seen as **** and the mothers who didn't do it to their daughters were seen as bad mothers.

Tell me i'm lying? I can show you 10s of documents and our own history attests to this.

Men have only started being against it in the last 30 years. There has also been direct campaigns in which religious figures where mostly spoken to so that they can influence the rest of the community.

😢 tragic story they butchered her and destroyed her self confidence. Family is supposed to protect you when you are young and vulnerable. Tried to put myself in her shoes as a man, I would be out for blood people would feel my pain who put me through this she is better than me

Somali women on average give birth to 3 to 6 children in her lifetime, which is big business for the person (women) performing the circumcision. Not only that, but I also believe who ever introduces a family to the person performing the act shall receive some commission. That's why the act of FGM is still going on.
At the end of the day it's a somali womens business, since they "profit" from it.

May yours (and every Farax who jokes about FGM) gus be chopped off completely for laughing at her.

Akhas, nothing disgusts me more than a privileged sexist Farax disgustingly laughing at the trauma some Xalimo's go through. Somali culture doesn't deserve women.
Self hating is never okay cadaan wannabe.

don’t say stuff like somali culture doesn’t deserve women because of a comment on the internet.
