1) Somali guys are usually hilarious...they never cease to make me laugh ( can't generalize but from my experience 9 out 10 Somali guys I've ever met can quit their day jobs and become successful comedians if they wanted to)
2) Sharing similar childhood stories...try talking about your Somali upbringing to cadaan or other African or Caribbean guys and see the look they give you...unfortunately they'll never get it but a Somali guy can actually join in the conversation and add his two cents and his parents and your parents can potentially even become close friends if things become serious. It would be much harder to do with a non Somali.
3) A Somali guy can charm his way into your hooyo's heart ...non Somali guys will have a more difficult time
4) you can speak to each other in your own secret language (af Somali ) while you're out in public, or at a restaurant without worrying if people can understand. (Unless you live in Dixon or Minnesota...where every other person you come across is Somali).
5) you can flirt in Somali
6) there's a high chance he's over 6 feet...
7) I like how Somali guys sound (they usually have a sexy deep voice with a hint of boyishness to it...)
