You're right about polygamy, but I'd say two things work in the favour of average men;

1. A woman's 'biological clock'
2. Limiting polygamy to 4 wives.

If men were allowed hundreds of wives, these average men would resort to kidnapping women as the millionaires, billionaires and fine men, would get ALL the women.
If women could have children until they were OLD, they'd find ways to have kids and raise them alone, as they could spend more time stacking money to become single mothers.
