How does a man in Mogadishu decide what's good for GM? 
Bottom up or let's go our separate ways. The people of those villages, towns, cities of GM should decide what is best for them with no interference from any other government or city in Somalia. I am not sure why people hate this concept? it's the only concept based on justice. @Lex Luther
There is no point PL appointing a leader for GM and using UAE cash money and create a tit for tat race with the SFG in GM, can we do this? Of course as there is many GALMUDUG people who are pro dubai-saudi coalition and they are pro federalism. In 91 it was GM who told everyone to go back to they're territories which gave birth to federalism(people forget this part of federalism history).
I am thankful PL is staying out of GM and not adding further fire. I hope Lex deals with these centralist anarchist who fly in from diaspora and try to imagine a Somalia like they LEFT in they're younger days. Talk about trying to re-write history, wtf, you can't re-write history, you must move forward. If I lose my job today, I can't re-write history and get back my job, I need to move along and find new job. Somalia needs to move forward to the new solution of federalism rather then re-hashing the old centralism approach.

@Lex Luther If I was the SFG, I would tell each region you decide what you want for yourselves as a region, who your ruler is, your policies and visions for Somalia. It's better dealing with that clan and they're REAL values and clan agendas then dealing with 'cooked up' version you 'installed' for them which will be replaced the second your time in office is finished.
The reason I am against @Dues Ex Machete is because he is doing the same thing hassan sheikh tried, where is hassan sheikh team and allies today? dam jadiid is dead, it was short lived political union, now they're joining different short lived political unions. All of damjadiid allies in the regions were replaced also. Once Dues is elected out of office, he doesn't realize all his puppets will go with him. It's a fake short-term vision, it won't hold Somalia by selecting who u like for a region, u must tell them to select who they want, and accept beeshooda vision iyo agenda.
At least now u can negiotate with the clan on they're REAL vision and ideas, u may even be able to get them to tanasul if you show them why it's uneffective, u have better hope for Somalia. But installing a puppet u want in each region and hoping u win the SFG election is not going to work. Qatar won't even back you and start backing new candidates for HAMAR election as they fear if they back u as FARMAJO or Kheyre u won't be able to secure enough votes since Somalis never re-install the same govt after 4 years, this is quite predictable in Somali politics. They always change the govt after 4 years. No-one has secured 8 years in Somalia. It just won't happen, don't ask for the impossible. U should've of used your 4 years well and left something, not spend it in the last 2 years installing puppet around the region hoping u can secure another 4 years. This is poor southern politician visions, your way behind PL, we are like 100 years ahead of you in the political game.
Watch GM in 2 years time sack the president after nabad iyo nolal is finished, he will disappear with them. Wuxu si racaya 'xalufadisa' as a 'new' coalition starts to form around the new president in Hamar and his team. Automatically they will begin penetrating GM again, lining up new candidates, creating fake wars with PL, then calling for a new election. I feel sorry for GM, it's so tied down to Mogadishu and Mogadishu is unstable every 4 years there is a change, so GM will need to ride it out constantly with them. I hope GM free itself and realizes the truth, dantina waa HG tashato not HG isku halayso dawlad kasto ka soo dhalato muqdisho.
