He’s amazing but once someone asked him if he’s from Somalia he responded with a NO I’m from somalilandShould have taken the durag off, looks unprofessional.
He lost little bit of weight, good on him.
He has came along way. I remember cracking up to chefchunkz skits.
From the few clips I've seen from this kid, he'll never make it at the top level as a CB. But if he's got an engine on him, CM may be a possibility but I doubt it. In all honesty, he should develop primarily as a wide player similar to Trent Alexander-Arnold. Specialize as an RB/RWB/RM early on in his career, leave LFC for a European side for game time and he can make it to the top IMOView attachment 81846
Abdi Sharif is a versatile player who can play in the middle of the park, at right-back and even at centre-back.
He has been with the club since the age of nine and made his U18s debut in the 2016-17 season as an U16 player.
Abdi was a key player for the U18s during 2018-19 and made his full U23s debut in January 2019.
In the 2018-19 season, Abdi was part of the victorious FA Youth Cup squad as he netted a penalty during the dramatic shootout victory over Manchester City in the final.

After penning his first professional contract with the club during the summer, Sharif picked up an injury in pre-season and remains in rehabilitation after undergoing surgery on an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The 18-year-old picked up the injury towards the closing stages of the friendly game with Coventry City on July 24.
No timescale has been set for Sharif’s return and he will undergo a period of rehabilitation with the Academy's medical staff.

The smartest thing a young player can do is specialize early on in their careers. When I was in the academy for Nottingham Forest, EVERYONE wanted to either be a CM or a Winger. If you specialize in a position where nobody wants to play in (which was typically RB or LB!), and learn that position inside out in regards to the defensive duties as well as the role itself, I SWEAR to you sxb that a player that would have been released for playing in those coveted CM/AM/LW/RW roles will instead be starting XI every week as an RB/LB. The same philosophy applies to Pro football.@Exodus
Sxb, never say never, they released many young players and signed him up on a professional contract and they must have seen something special in him. He’s still a trainee and work in progress. I do agree with you that they will loan him out to European clubs where he needs playing time. Remember what they said of Mohamed Salah? Even Mourinho sold him. Similar with De Bruyne.
