Personally, I would choose from the Madhibaan, Tumaal, or Yibir clans. They have no quarrels with large clans (who perpetuate the endless conflicts), have good work ethic, among other reasons.

I believe kala adkaansho is a real thing because Somalis never concede unless they are forced to. For the sake of peace and unity, this is why I find myself supporting the victory of every government. There is no qabiil on my Somali passport or identification card once it is developed so why should I fight for something as insignificant as that. I wonder what you guys think?

Clan politics do not belong in a civilised nation. Your clan is meant to represent a wider “family”, knowing one’s lineage and ancestors. It does not belong in the government nor does it belong in the military or courts. The sooner we realise that the faster we start developing as a nation. Somalia in its current state is filled with tribal FMS who act like they’re a nation, which quite frankly is stopping our nation from moving on and developing. I’m not against federalism, but this is why outsiders pushed this system on us. Because they knew we would forever be divided.
