Exactly man. I grew up in a country not of my own and a culture that is alien to what my own was. A whole generation of kids severed from their roots.

I teach Inuit kids, and I see the intense damage that a lack of attachment, if not a complete removal of one's roots. There's some seriously deep seated issues that come with losing ones identity....it's on us to rebuild.
