I never said I wouldn't discipline them. Children need discipline but I don't think I can beat them. I'll call aabo to slap them around when they act up.

Never. Hitting a child only creates fear which they abide by.

YOU have to make him organised. You need to give him a timetable, give him some time to play, time to do his HW with you, and time to go sleep. Any parent who doesn’t care about how organised their child is resorts to hitting them.

Not all children are the same. I was never beaten by my parents yet I turned out to be decent and successful in school.

1) They’re actually old enough to understand WHY I’m hitting them
2) Only if nothing else e.g. reasoning with them, time out etc. works

Inshallah, I hope to raise my children well to the point where hitting no longer becomes necessary.
