It means 'revolutionary' in Tigrayan, it's what the TPLF called itself during it's early days to connect itself to past Tigrayan rebels [specifically the post-ww2 revolt which opposed Ethiopian centralization and Amharic dominance]. It's supporters continued to call it that until all the other Ethiopian people's picked it up as a term of abuse against the TPLF-ERPDF government and Tigrayans in general.Cant even remember what that means tbh
Woyane now is a pejorative against Tigrayans, and is still used as a term to describe the TPLF (I tend to use it the latter role, I do not do ethnic fkd so you wont catch me using it as a slur)
