Why marry a person to begin with if you can even see divorce as a possibility?

People divorce I don’t see it as that big of a deal if kids aren’t involved. If it’s a sister I know that is longing for companionship then I’d be fine being a companion. Once I know what kinda person she is and how stable the marriage is, then kids can be considered. This applies even if the wife isn’t afflicted with such a trial but more so when same-sex attraction is involved.
