Take your vitamins. You bleed out a lot of nutrients during your period.

Make sure you drink a lot of water throughout the week and have a ibuprofen a day before the bleeding starts. It lowers inflammation and has been a life changer for me. Hot water bottles are also good for severe pain.
I read ibuprofen is bad for periods cause it doesn't last long and some women overdose on it by accident.
 
My periods are calm. Once every while I do get period pain for a few hours which only started happening from last year. But it's not intense as I thought it would be. Only last 3-5 days too.

Nothing else. I can continue with my life just fine.
