Working to Death in South Korea!

South Korea has a birthrate of 0.98 per woman, in 2020 the country had more deaths than birth. How is that country going to survive?

Why do ppl end up having so long working hours, not enough workers? low efficiency? low pay?
Habit. The Japanese and Koreans from the post-war years had to put in a lot of work to rebuild their countries and turn them into the well-off countries they are today. This insane work ethic continued into the modern era and white collar workers are paying for it with their well-being. Most of these extra hours are probably spent looking busy because the Japanese are less productive than other first world countries. It's all a massive waste of time and it's killing people.

It only takes a few generations, japan current pop is 126 million, by 2050, they will be 100 million 1/5 of population gone in 30 years. Just imagine korea with 50 million
