The word ‘jaad’ is used Af Hereri , Afaan Oromo , Af Amxaari .

In Somali we used both Qaad and Jaad. Some regions prefer one over the other.

Jaad (species) and Jaad ( 🌿🌿) is pronounced differently. The ‘aa’ is soft in 🌿.
