How to say ‘bonus / extra payment’ in Somali language?

In Somali language, bonus / extra payment is called gunno.

I would have thought 'gunno' was 'stipend', which is a predetermined daily, as in per diem, or weekly allowance, say for a young subaltern, cadet, or apprentice, whereas 'bonus' is 'abaalmarin', which is merit or performance based, more on a quarterly or annual basis.
