Socialist?
He is a self-declared Democratic Socialist and this has earned him the endorsement of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), but beyond that his case falls apart. Firstly he is a member of the capitalist-imperialist Democratic party, secondly in terms of material gains for the proletariat (the aim of all socialists in office) he has not negotiated with unions or directly with a worker's organization- just vague promises. He has however negotiated directly with elements of the bourgeoise and petty bourgeoise- not a grave sin by itself but in combination with above mentioned items it does not help his case.
I hope he proves me wrong tho!
