Good practise. People shouldn't think first about their holywood love, but the future of their children. The best that can happen to them is to be raised by their 'Habaryar', which is in islamic culture a second mother. The maternal aunt is aswell a Mahram for the children though.

Anyways I've experienced that such marriages are mostly arranged when a the husband or the wife dies, not for any small issue.

Being educated is having a knowledge in array of things. Especially things that will improve the quality of life of people and open mindedness.

Many rural folk, due to having very limited free time and access to schools ect, do not have time to educate themselves. Their skills is limited to what they need to survive, along with very good grasp of authentic Somali. But do they have a good grasp of world politics/ history, economics, maths, science and medicine? No I don't think so.

Nothing wrong with being uneducated, if you were never been given the chance to be educated. Plus, i believe they know a lot we can learn from them.

:manny:
Would you say your grandparents were uneducated?
Education isnt based on school

Yes, they were and there is nothing wrong with that.

That does not mean that they were unintelligent. They were wise and smart people and probably had a lot more common sense and ability than many educated people. They simply did not have the opportunities I and my parents had.

How about when her husband dies and she remarries his brother?

Poor societies practice weird cultures to survive. As soon as the husband dies or divorces her, there is no welfare state and she relocates closer to her family to be helped raise her kids. Many children are raised by their maternal relatives. Never heard a guy divorcing his wife and his brother marrying her, but if one dies, another brother will only marry if his brother left resources like animals or any other wealth. If he’s poor, she’s better off relocating to her folks area.

why not take care of your siblings children without violating their memory. And imagine having children with their spouse and the kids being sibling cousins:gucciwhat:

That 68 IQ is well reflected in our backward ass traditions:susp:
You just get to have more siblings cousins which is a good thing back home. My grandpa married 2 of his brothers wifes after they passed away. My dads mother already had 5 kids with the deceased brother and now we are very close with that family. my cousins already have teenage kids who call me uncle all the time.

Waa xalal is why plus who would want their new woman abusing their kids behind their back and i guess you never watched those lifetime shows/movies based on your post
