I don't believe women in the West are oppressed. Well not by laws and opportunities that are open to them.

Although sexism and personal gender dynamics are still a problem. For example, two women every week are murdered by their partners. Yet, domestic abuse shelters that could provide safety and refuge are under funded in the UK. Its probably worse in America as ya'll are crazy and have guns. All in all societal sexism is still a thing.

Actually a lot of warehouse jobs that deliver stuff to shops need strength. Who brings the couch, the fridge or cooker you order. Manufacturing things like cars take strength. My first job was working for Landrover installing car seats and that was physical. People really underestimate how many people work in low end jobs that make society go around
