So i have been thinking about making a thread about this. I've never really made alot of threads in my presence in this blessed forrum, so here its. Its about my view on women leadership.

Women. The most loved, protected and opressed (according to women) creatures through out history. Their contrupution to the sociaty is unlimited but verry view has gotten into political positions. Especially in somalia.

Now let me adress what i think about women leadership in Somalia.

Somalia is extremely conservative sociaty whose bleives lay in an islamic values. Contarary to popular bleives that islam prohibetes women to lead a nation, somalia isn't led by islamic law (sharica) which means females aswell as males can bid for the highest office in the country. This doesn't mean it opposes Islam as quran says obey Allah his messenger scw and your ul al amar ( ruler ), in the case of modern day, the law. So there is no law, man made or islamic law, that prohibtes women from becoming a leader of their country.

Now here is my skepticism not of their knowledge nor abbility but their nature. Women are fundamentally loyal to themselfs their offspring. They aren't fussed about patrioticism nor kinhood. Keep in mind, we are talking about leading a country and these are the fundamentals.

Couble of days ago i was listening to podcast. There was a couple of somali ladies discussing about the issues that face somali sociaty in and out the mainland. After they were done talking about the might of their clan, they started talking about the real topic they were there for. They were against the fundamental value of being somali. They compoletely riduculed the words Dalka Dadka Diinta. According to them that is not what it should be about. They lebeled it as msygonystic and sexist. Keep in mind these ladies are highly educated and moved back home to "bring change". Now thats intresring.

We have a generation of highly educated women who doesn't have an ounce of somali values in them but are highly involved and want to participate and - as scary as it sounds - perhabs lead the country one day.

Contrary to modern day somali females, the older generation were more suitable for leadership. Its mystery they haven't rise up to the greatness they had potential for.

Maybe i'm pessimistic about the situation but i haven't seen the Taliso of our days yet.

Now discuss.

The culture wars of the West have finally come to Somalia. But the pernicious effects of liberalism and feminism in Europe and North America are there for all to see, which is why there has been a strong reaction from the Right, which continues to gain traction. It's going to be difficult for these Somali women and their handlers to sell their insidious ideas to Somalis, because all one has to do is point to the havoc it has wrought on the West.

There's absolutely no honour in leading Somalia or Somalis for that matter. You want to see your eedo cutting cake to celebrate TPLF anniversary? :nahgirl:

I think it already worked among somalis in the west. The correlation between highly educated somali females and extreme leftism it baffling. Would be intresting to see how somalis back home take cope with it.

Personally I find most of the university level educated Somali girls in the west to be culturally conservative/religious. I rarely meet or even hear about extreme leftist Somali girls irl. They're just loud on social media.

I haven't met them myself but they are in tons. Social media is their key to reach out to the other like minds.

Most somalis in general - male and female - are culturelly conservatives but this doesn't apply to most somalis eslecially the ones back home.

I plan to be the first female president of Somalia one day so you lot had better start behaving nicely. I am sick of the horrible reputation our country has and I want to bring it into the first world by ushering in a social and economic revolution. Vive Somalia.
