We all agree that sexual violence against women from any background should be grounds for instant execution. The whole qabil bullshit is simply standing in the way of a uniform justice system. I don't understand why folks feel the need to protect criminals because they share a common ancestor, it is beyond backwards.
Criminal. Abhorrent. Miscarriage of justice. All in one. The only times, or reason we hear about these cases are when someone tries, or something is being attempted, when in reality there are thousands of unreported cases all over the country. Instead of the finger-pointing and baneful qabiil twaddling, how about:
- How could the victim and her family end up arrested?
The victim and her mother are no longer in police custody. Mayor of Bosaso says the case is being investigated.

Two days before Ramadan too. There is something fundamentally wrong with these old heads. People donβt like it when I say that Somalia needs institutions and laws that completely cuck the clan system / mentality like the Meji Restoration did to the clans and Samurai classes in Japan.
Acording to Bari police investigation, the 'accused' male brought the daughter of the woman in the video to a home on the night of February 27th to which he then introduced this girl to his neighbor the next morning. The neighbor and the girl immediately recognized one another as they're cousins. The cousin of the girl asked her what brought you here to which she informed her that the two are lovers and are planning on getting engaged. The neighbor asked her if the engagement has happened to which the young woman replied not yet. The young girl spent the next two days at her home afterwards she was taken away by her father.
The father of this girl went to his local police station to file a complaint on the 1st of March. After being questioned by the local police chief and CID investigator, the girl said that she loves the boy and that he had not harmed her in any way. Three days had gone by before the father filed a case against the 'accused' young man to which he showed up to the station after being called upon. The investigators took the daughter to a lab for testing and found evidence of sexual intercourse. After an early investigation involving questioning of both the 'accussed' and the 'victim', eye witness testimony, and lab reports from the police, both the girl and the young man were detained by the police.
After being unsatisified with the early findings of this investigation, the mother of the young girl took to social media to post the now viral video on FB accussing the young man of raping her daughter and corruption involving the local police. The case has now been transferred to the local court. As of today, the 'victim' has been released along with her mother.

If it's found out that the mother/daughter lied then I hope they are thrown in jail. The accusation of rape is a serious one and false accusation make the true ones harder to take serious. This is a huge mess honestly.
To clarify, the 'accussed' boy is Madhibaan. There are some disingenious cretins on this site and Facebook hinting or outright accussing the police of taking the side of the young man due to qabyalaad. They must have though he hailed from beesha dheexe of PL.
