You won’t have that many people who done masters who want to teach. And the best schools in best areas will always have the first choice. Parents have too much expectations on teachers and always blame teachers. The school I went to as kid was 90% foreign and most of us behaved badly and were nightmare to teach anything. Most of our parents didn’t really have clue. They just send us there and in their mind we were all good kids. Most teachers give up when most kids don’t have the desire to learn. I know I would.
There needs to be some reform in education (here) where that is the baseline requirement. Similar to Finland.
It should be incumbent upon schools to teach young students prosocial behaviour so they can navigate conflict, effectively regulate themselves/their emotions and work with others. It should not be taken for granted that this is learned in the home (like in the case of your rambunctious friends that lacked home training).
