I live with a lot of Indonesians around me, the biggest Indo-diaspora lives here in the Netherlands and I have never met a mix as common as wasian.

the amount of half Indo and half Dutch people I know is just ridiculous, like out right ridiculous. I have never met an Indonesian couple around my age either, probably even have seen them more with Somali/MENA men then with their own men. They ofcours mostly marry the Dutch, and so do their offsprings. Those w Asians are probably double the amount of Half South American/Caribbean half Dutch and those people are already in large numbers lmao

Because they’ve been hyper emasculated for years. It use to be the norm for ppl to mock their accents, food, facial features and yar. In media they’re always portrayed as nerds and geeks. With other groups there’s negative stereotypes as well but they weren’t emasculated as the Asian dude and these groups had some decent masculine role models in media

In the western world white ppl in all aspects of culture are allowed to be individuals. Every other group dont have that privilege unfortunately
