I live in a relatively safe city. Closest city that would be bombed is almost 400 kms away so pretty sure the nuclear fallout wouldn’t reach me.

The problem is Im minority in the country and in apocalypse all hell brakes free. No law, no order which makes me an easy target. If I could place myself somewhere in the world before nuclear holocaust it would be either back home or good old murica.

A nuclear war will kill 1/2 or 2/5 of Europe in the first few days. The other half will say shortly from debris or run out of food, water, medicine, and will get radiation poisoning.

And the ‘Malhama al Kubra’ has to take place so I’d say the West will go into stagnation but won’t be destroyed. Eventually, people will rebel against governments and the religiosity of the Populace returns.

I’d say something like the Romans being overrun by German people and the subsequent Dark Ages or like how the Muslim nations are like today, not extinct, but in stagnation.
