Has anyone had a good Wing Chun instructor outside of mainland China?
At first, it might hurt a bit, but after a month of solid training, your body develops tolerance, and resistance to that initial pain. It is a great workout though, not to mention defence as well as attack method.that shit looks like it hurts
Yip Man, yes.IP MAN???!?!!
Thanks for sharing. That must have been Bruce Lee era movie.
You won't see it, besides a couple of moves its uselessI want to see wing chun in a UFC.
Care to join me for a sparring session? You won't see it, besides a couple of moves its useless
If you really trained any legit martial arts you should know how useless wing tsun is in most cases.Care to join me for a sparring session?
I started with boxing, and was a very good amateur with a solid left hook, tried MMA, and settled on WIng Chun at last.
I was not suggesting it is superior, or better, but I find it more suitable to my style much better than MMA, which I find rather wild.If you really trained any legit martial arts you should know how useless wing tsun is in most cases.
There is no legit fighter with wing tsun as base in any major mma organization.

In closed-combat, I would opt for Wing Chun any day of the week.
A combination of many methods, if not all, including 'Geeljire lagdin' far outweighs than one. Now, that 'Geeljire lagdin' is a true art form, and skill to have.
Started with classic Wing Chun, then moved on to J K Do, and incorporated 'lagdin'. I have been at it nearly for 11 years granted my 'lagdin' is not very good. It is a lost art in Somalia now, but I attended some sessions in India, and was impressed with the discipline. What is your style ?
How long you been involved with martial arts?
To each their own , for me wing tsun is overhyped & works only against people who can't fight or are drunkStarted with classic Wing Chun, then moved on to J K Do, and incorporated 'lagdin'.
