I believe it is one of those endangered languages that might eventually die out. The Garre in the diaspora also aren’t that many and most of them can’t speak the language fluently. The best hope is for those still in Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia. Are any of you willing to learn this language?

Garre live in ceelwaaq district in gedo, my father is from ceelwaaq and knows plenty of them. He says they are great people and are very religious.

what do you think about these people and their language. Do they have a lot of Oromo in them?
