That is if Abye survives.
They are also going to build several dams at the source of Shabelle and Jubba.Making Konfuria a desert.
Abye only survives if he stops the dam being built, otherwise US will step aside as Tigray tide swallows him up whole.

Naah bro he will survive if he revokes Chineese contracts in Ethiopia.Abye only survives if he stops the dam being built, otherwise US will step aside as Tigray tide swallows him up whole.

The dam is a scapegoat.
Chineese literary have like more than 70 % of major contracts in Ethiopia. The dam is needed though so I highly doubt he will do that he's in a tough position right now. Which is good and bad for us
Abye only survives if he stops the dam being built, otherwise US will step aside as Tigray tide swallows him up whole.
No Ethiopian will stop the dam from building. That is wishful thinking. Not Abiy, not TPLF, not even Jawar. Any current or future government will still continue building the dam. In fact one of the only few things Ethiopians across all political spectrum agree is the building of the dam because it will benefit all Ethiopians and lift millions out of poverty. There is a wide consensus among Ethiopians on this issue.
No one will be lifted out of poverty.Even during Haile selasie time poverty was rampant Haile used to spend millions in celebrations and food brought from abroad. While Ethiopia was in poverty. No Ethiopian will stop the dam from building. Coerced to do what?Tigray's who are at odds with this government could probably be coerced
Dont worry about these, Ethiopia will soon have a civil war, Egypt got the green light to bomb the gerd and thats it, its over for Ethiopia.
Amxaarada waan ku shaqeysanayna sida polishka loogu shaqaysto.
Mark my Word.
Coerced to do what?
There will never be a deal with Egypt.Agree to Egypt deal, in exchange for power
unlikely, what you guys need to understand is that Somali areas are hot dusty hell holes the places at greater risk are the north-westernmost territories and the riverine areas.
The riverine areas are complete baadiyo TPLF tried bringing some Xabash farmers time ago but quickly realized that its an unstable hell hole. As for the western areas Fiiq is reer baadiyo battlegrounds, Jigjiga is the capital, and Canfar are too small to take land from anyone.
Even in a case of war all parties will be so busy with one another around Addis and surroundings that any dreams they would have of replacing the population would be impossible through force.
The hardest part isnt holding on to what you have its regaining what was lost Moyale district and Babile were both important for our claims to 2 strategic cities aswell as large land occupied by hundreds of thousands of Somalis. Garre Dir and Karanle have lost massively and by extension we all have ONLF must come in to end this soft control and promote Urbanization/Somalism in Dire Dhabe/Moyaale aswell as a stronger military in SR.
Wrong! Every Tigrean I know including TPLF supports the dam. In fact TPLF accuses PM Abiy for being less patriotic and selling the dam to Egypt. Remember that the tigrean Meles Zenawi started building the dam and every Ethiopian region will get electricity from the dam. There is a wide consensus on this one. The debate is about who is more patriotic, TPLF or PM Abiy.Tigray's who are at odds with this government could probably be coerced
But the number of people out of poverty and the increasing GDP per capita disagree with you. Any blind man can go to Ethiopia and witness the development and the improvement first hand. To deny hard reality makes you look like a fool tbh. Honestly, you better just shut up for real. You have no clue whatsoever. Try to differentiate between your own wishful thinking and reality backed by hard facts. No one will be lifted out of poverty.Even during Haile selasie time poverty was rampant Haile used to spend millions in celebrations and food brought from abroad. While Ethiopia was in poverty.
Haile Selasie literary owned everything in Ethiopia to the extend that Amhara started the uprising.
Even if 1000 dams were created in Ethiopia will still be poor.
Because Feudalism/ communism hasnt been abolished in reality.
In order to recieve that solution there must be a weak if not a collapsed Ethiopian state, tigrays Will never accept a government that is not lead by them.We dont want a civil war in Ethiopia as it will bring extreme amount of refugees to somali lands. Civil wars lasts for years aswell. The only solution is to free our territories ourselves and let the Ethiopian people that live in those cities flee back to their homeland.
That is called wishful thinking.Ethiopian govt intends to sell the electricity to generate money.Do you know in Nigeria the sell electricity to their neighbouring country while people in the same town are using generators. But the number of people out of poverty and the increasing GDP per capita disagree with you. Many manufacturers in Ethiopia right now operate with less than 50% their capacity for lack of electricity and you are here telling us electricity doesn’t affect growth and poverty reduction. You better go to school man.
Clannism isnt as toxic in Ogadenia Cagjar is denounced mainly by his own clan and they are his biggest opposition. There isnt actually much clan on clan tension as the hierarchy is clear Absame then Dir then everyone else. Garre would be third but have almost no highschool graduates and speak another language. When there is a clear hierarchy its harder to inspire conflict. The problem is that it doesn't take much for outsiders to instigate between Somalis. I don't know, but I feel that Somalis haven't learnt anything from the past.
It only takes one Somali dabodhilif to unravel a huge amount of chaos.
They would probably very easily instigate Somalis against one another. It's definitely not as simplistic as some wish to make it look. The ONLF are now a political group that has denounced violence and can only really function in their clan territories with any real influence. The only way forward is for Somali clans to mobilize militias and either cooperate with eachother or retreat to their areas of influence.
Btw Moyaale isn't lost. The Garre and Boran have been fighting for over a 100 years. It's still a Somali territory.
Somalis have been saying this since I was a kid, and every year their GDP growsView attachment 149148
i'm doubting that ethiopia will survive the next decade.
