The Somali language is rapidly vanishing in the west and the culture is dissappearing as well. Extinction is not out of the question. We are 30 million worldwide, however the Chinese and Indians over a 1 billion, brits in UK 65 mill, Pakistan 200 mill. Oromos worldwide 40 mill the bantus are growing daily. Insha'Allah it won't happen but with globalisation it is always possible. Unlike China where they have a very strong government that's why there is no western influence. Somalia is ats weakest point in history, no government and easily influenced. Insha'Allah I pray this won't happen but I wanted to put it out there as its a possibility.

We won’t go extinct as a people but I feel like the future somali identity in the west may be as Somali as how african the african american identity is
No sweety, from the fast rate we r going, soon we will be like african americans. Single mothers, daddies no where to be seen, no close kneat families, no talk or landheer or langhaab, basically indhoo yeey looking babies or jamaican or liberian

True, but after all the percentage of Somalis in the west compared to back home is very very small. All we need is about 5 % to 10% of Somalis from the west who have retained their identity and added to it e.g. Education STEM and/or capital. Those will return and help build the nation.
When somalia is safe and less corrupt that’s when the nation can truly proper
