Somaliland leadership decided they would join Somalia so the chose the blue flag, for many years before Independence here many talks among landers on the issue of uniting with somalia. The italian administration in Somalia and somali leaders scheduled the independence on 1st July and on that day Somaliland also joined. This is a well known fact bro, I thought everyone knew this

So SL elders decided join union and raise Somalia flag in 26 June. But somehow SL republic was there in same time?.

China has no interest in Somalia, and even if they wanted to they can't militarily confront USA in Somalia due to logistics.

I do think you guys underestimate the impact of Chinese influence over Djbouti has become in which over 80% of it's debt is to China.This compromises Americas influence over the region which would lead to them establishing stronger ties with other countries there like Somalia.

The same as ours. The chose the Blue flag because they already wanted to unite with Somalia. Infact when landers say "we restored our independence" they actually mean that they were independent for 5 days before joining mama Somalia.

Somaliland resigned its sovereignty to join union with a fair constitution.The latter part didn't happen and there was great discontent since 1961 in which there was even a small coup attempt in the region.

China is planing to take USSR spot. Having a friendly Egypt/Somalia/Djibouti is a must if they want their products to reach EU.
