I think we are working hard to beat the Colombians.
Alshabab is been around now since 2006 (Second Chapter of Civilwar). Dont see any reason why they would dissapear before 2030 (after that year hard to tell).
We are almost in the year 2020 Insha Allah.
From now they can survive easy another 13 years if they continue guerilla warfare, if money train keeps coming.
