I wore a wig for the first time this year and I’m not wearing it again. I don’t know how my friends do it wallahi so itchy. Alhamdullilah us somali girls are blessedddd. Imagine waking up every morning to braid your hair, put a wig cap on, glue it down, cut the sides, put the wig on, glue it down again, do your baby hairs with mousse and wrapping a headscarf around it, then waiting 20 mins to take it off.

I wore it to try it out, see what the hype was about. Hooyo was cussing me out left right and centre for wearing it Don’t get me wrong it felt good with all those inches but it’s too much shaqo.

It’s haram but a lot of Somali girls want it. I don’t understand why wear a wig with the same hair type you already have
