It's the same reason why people commit suicide based on other reasons - mental health. For some people discovering their entire life they had was based on a lie impacts them like a car driving at high speed hitting them. Completely disorientated unable to comprehend and struggling to make sense of things to continue with life.

Some people are mentally stronger than others and can find a way to copy, either through reconciliation/forgiveness or retribution. For others sadly, they cannot cope with the mental anguish. Death is unfortunately the only way they see out. Very sad.
