Kenya has done more for Somalis then Somalis done for themselves. Kenya gave refuge to Somali refugees, they gave us multiple opportunities to thrive in their country. Kenyan Somalis gave up on Somaliweyn and are thriving in Kenya. I can honestly see why. The truth is, Somalis and Kikuyu’s dominate the country. Somalis dominate the country economically and Kikuyu’s politically although Somalis are influential in Kenyan politics. Somalis have the fastest growing population in that country and are soon to become the largest ethnic group. Kenya is a civilized country and Nairobi is where multiple ethnic groups meet. The country is becoming more urbanized everyday. Also to mention, lots of Indians and Europeans are influential in the economy of that country. Kenyans as a people don’t hate us, they view us as African brothers and sisters. I have relatives in Kenya and there doing well. Ethiopia is who we need to be vigilant for. God bless Mama Kenya

Also Kenya has less restrictions when it comes to business. A license that probably takes years to get in Ethiopia might take a day in Kenya. This is why Somalis businessmen flock to countries like Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda and Zambia. If Ethiopia wants people to invest in their country, they need to make it easier for businessmen to do their thing.
