The reason why south asians and Arabs dominate mosques is because they came to the UK after WW2 and had more time to generate wealth while Somalis only came after 1991. I live in a smaller city me and iskufilann are from the same place. We have our own area and with a bunch of our own masjids. Most of the negative stuff you hear about the uk is about London since its very multicultural.

Somalis do have there own masjid and everything but London is huge and the government separate the somalis over there so there all in different areas you can't keep track and connect all the somalis from every area but it would have been possible if they all moved to a smaller city. To give you some perspective my city is smaller then 1 area of London

I would say; Acton, Hayes, Leyton, Harlesden and Tottenham. London is too big so there are other smaller areas/towns where they huddle together.

Not us. Here in Minnesota, you're surveilled by other Somalis. You can't do anything without it getting back. One girl from my masjid did some reckless shit, and was exposed. We keep niggas on lock here in Minnesota. I'm actually considering moving away for a bit, it's stifling and feels like a small town where everyone knows everyone. In general, we've pretty much cracked down on that stuff. Most Somali women here wear jilbabs or something similar, and wear abayas.
