The government does not have the ability to prevent them entering the country, which means immigrants are able to legally claim asylum.

The only way you can crack down on unauthorised entry, is if you prevent their entry to the country because once immigrants reach the border, they can submit an asylum claim which has to be recognised by the receiving country.

Somalia should just outsource the processing of asylum claims to the NGOs with the condition that any rejected claims will be deported.

Half the population are nomadic but the equivalent of the whole of Sool makes a living in Borama, keep in mind Awbarre is right next door which is the largest Woreda in the Somali region, also keep in mind Sool hasn't had stable leadership since the collapse of Somalia.

Administrations in Somaliland and Puntland didn’t develop it. They will do better in the coming years now that they run their own region inshallah
