Oman is one of my favourite secret destinations They Rich Oil country and can do what UAE did and try westernise but choose not too but they keep their traditional architecture, and its very similar to Somalia and how Mogadishu used to look.

If Somalia becomes Rich from the Oil in the Future they should take the Oman route, even better since we have the longest coastline it will suite it even more - Modern + Historical like Italian Cities.

Oman is the correct path, basically the country version of someone who is rich and unknown. It is better to be unknown then known, regardless of how rich the country is.

Sky scrapes are nice to look at but destroyed world wide cultures. A century ago you could identify what area of the world a photo of a city was taken it with architecture alone but now that’s impossible besides niche cases like Oman and Nepal

I don't like skyscrapers, they are phallic symbols, that make places feel cold and ghoulish.
