This guys been muslim for a minute. If he does that for the fame which is claimed, that’s between him and allah and ilahi will deal with him accordingly.
I don’t think it’s right to question people’s islam unless he publically acts on kufr as doing things for the clout doesnt take you out the fold of islam, despite it being showing off which is major sin and can be considered showing off.

Agreed, but Muslims online take the Islamic principle of assuming the best of others as an excuse to be willfully naive when it comes to famous converts.
There could be undeniable proof that he/she is a murderer and there would still be a sizable portion of these fanbases defending him/her.
