Of course. :damedamn:

Khat doesn't actually lead to intoxication but is like chewable coffee which gives people energy and boost their happiness.

Islam is a massive part of their lives.

Athaan plays in the night. When it's Friday prayer people have to pray outside because of the amount of people.
It's still an intoxicant, Im not gonna lie it has a nice buzz effect after chewing, you would hallucinate and imagine throughout the day even the trash music becomes lively, you'd be talkative , marqaan is something else hence I used for occasionally but the side effects let's say a hangover the next day isn't a good feeling kkkk

I understand why it become a preference for most Somalis

It's toxic shit time consuming and you become skeleton after long term consumption

Khat is a drug which brings many side effects and long term health problem warya.
You fail to understand it's a big chunk of Djibouti's economy.

Somalis had a different dresscode before the civil war, unmarried women did not have the hijab until they were married. This is the most significant one. Some djiboutians have kept this up.

A pious muslima.
Asides from Afars, being Djiboutians why would you include the immigrants even if some were born after independence.
The Arabs are Yemenis, the Amharas and Oromos are straight up Ethiopians what's Djiboutian about them, you need to do research walaal , it seems like you are diasporan and not know much about your country.

It's like including the Oromos of Bosaaso , the Kikuyu construction workers in Mogadishu , the Ethiopian contraband smugglers as Somali nationals eventhough they work in the country wtf

My Djiboutian friend who is cisse is enraged, he's very angry that I mentioned and infurios that a Djiboutian would Oromos , Arabs and Amharas are Djiboutians he almost punched the fucking wall he kept saying "Merde" ....

Kulaha Amharas are migrant workers and since the newly constructed railway more Ethiopians have entered the country,
most of these migrants encompass of women who are found in quarters ( red light districts) , Sheraton hotel and the foreign military bases.

Oromos are passer-bys they are migrants via tahriib , enroute to Yemen , most hide in Tadjoura, Afar territory and are illegal.

There are two types of Arabs , first one are expats who bought Djiboutian citizenships and settled in decades ago and the second wave of Arabs are from neighbouring Yemen fleeing the war , mostly are kept in Obock refugee camp , but some exceptions were made that they could stay in Djibouti City but they have become a burden he said.

I asked him what's his opinion on this , he replied he hates Omar Guelleh to the core , he compared him to Assad, lol
called him an autocratic despot , he's responsible if Djiboutians become the minority, he also stated the confined villas across the port are where the coward rich elites stay meanwhile society are in abject povery, he said everything is expensive and one of the reasons he left for South Africa.

I asked him why do you mix french with Somali are you not qof dhiigleh

he replied due to state institutionalization , french colonialism , but also said today they mix all three languages together in order to keep both the Somalis and Afars together.

He was a former Soldier that fought in Ras Doumeria against Eritrea , but said he's no longer loyal to a corrupt country and regrets being the pawn of a regime that barely care for their citizens , he told me wars are for the greedy rich

My friend is a socialist and he calls himself the Che Guevara of Djibouti

There are many of them here and are opposition , one time they tried to storm the embassy kkkkk
ok I have a different opinions on nationality lol.... Djibouti is a fake country made by french so excuse me if I include people who live there even before the Declaration of Independence. But whatever lol.
