For modern society it kinda true, but even then you get some hardcore religious people who disown their children if they leave the faith
If you're talking about a Muslim country well because it is illegal for there to even be a murtad. If you're asking why Muslims dislike murtads in the west it's because they're losers. They leave the religion then spend so much time trying to insult the religion they left. They have an obsession instead of just moving on with their lives.

Every religious groups (who comes from a religious family structure) gets bitter when they see their love ones leave their faith.
Fathers are the one who gets the most offended: since they provide the family structure and keeps their family unit attached.
Westerners (especially gen z) are losing their religious identities.
Gen z are seeking their own path instead of relying on their parents on what or who they should believe in.

I mean people derive morality and laws/rights from different sources, we derive it from what we believe to be a divine source. The west/UN derives it from Liberalism and shoddy principles that they don’t apply consistently (maybe as time progresses they will)
You are arrested then given the chance to repent, it's not inhumane. Murtads should just learn to be silent if they want to live a regular life in a Muslim country. It's always the homosexual deviants that complain about apostasy laws because they can't live out their degenerative fantasies publicly. This is a religion that protects the sanctity of society. None of that secular "if no one is being hurt its okay" nonsense. That type of thinking leads to all sorts of nastiness being allowed.
At least our morals are consistent, being from the Quran and sunnah. Theirs are always changing throughout history.
Almost all of them are Western Diaspora lol. Some of them pretend to be Muslim otherwise no Somali will marry them. They are very few even in the diaspora, which is a good thing. It's because their parents don't bother to educate them properly. Or sometimes their parents are too strict so they become apostates as a form of rebellion against them, a way to distance themselves from their overly strict parents. That is pretty much the story of most Western Ex Muslims lol.
It's not ''many'' lol. Just because you see one apostate, it does not reflect on the wider Somali community. You should say that to the Pakistanis or Turks instead. Apostates in our community are less than 1% of the population, no matter how much they scream. Most are liberal, LGBT friendly because they have little Somali friends. They prefer Cadaan friends instead. They are sellouts who prefer Ajnabis over their own, and hate Arabs for obvious reasons. They are delusional and will make up false information against the rest of us. They will march with the Cadaan and tell Cadaan media that we are evil and shouldn't be allowed to migrate. They're sellouts & traitors who hate Somalia and wish we were like the West African slaves so they can claim the victim card. They are self haters and its sad sometimes.
The Khaniis ones I see are usually half Somalis. So you can guess where they got the Khaniis from lol

Unfortunately it's what happens when you're raised even by only one non Somali parent. They're not raised the right way and end up hating their people. They're taught degeneracy and other nasty things. Which is why every Somali should aspire to marry a Somali, otherwise it will definitely ruin your kid the same way these Khaniis ones are. If you can't marry Somali for whatever reasons, at least marry Muslim.

Personally I’ve never ever met a Somali gaal irl. I’ve met a few who were not very practicing but they always claimed Muslim
There’s communities that truly are filled with apostates like Iranians and Turkish and even Afghani and Pakistani to some extent. Those people will tell you straight up they’re not Muslim
