Nah the light skins I know were always light skins even as kids. I think it has more to do with genetics

As a dhuxulow man, I can comfortably say there is more lightskins then darkskins in the diaspora, I be feeling like a minority here kkkkk. By lightskins I mean everybody who isn’t trulyvdarskinned.

Most somalis are brownskin although more lighter somali women than men. I wouldn't say most somali men in the diaspora are darkskin I see a lot that are brown. The ones back home are very dark particularly the men

sun does that to people its just a tan if you bring them all over to the west they will get lighter
