Why is there not one successful country in Sub-Saharan Africa?

Somalia will become powerful and rich if we form ties with countries like France, Israel and Brazil - these countries are the most influential in the world.

We all know why but it will be politically incorrect to say so. They need someone like me, the total opposite, to turn them into Switzerland.

This topic has been discussed a lot but it all comes down to geography and corruption. Sub Saharan Africa is incredibly humid with mosquitoes that carry malaria and the UV radiation is the highest there. Also the politicians are inept and don’t know what their doing or know how to run things. In a different timeline, I genuinely think Somalia, Ethiopia and Sudan would be similar economically speaking to North Africa bc we weren’t cut off from the Sahara desert

Is colonialism really to blame? Or are Sub-Saharan Africans just innately intellectually inferior?

Other parts of the world had colonialism too and yet they have produced very successful countries. Even North African countries are 10x better than Sub-Saharan countries. Morocco literally has a higher GDP per capita than Nigeria :snoop:

Botswana, Tanzania, Gabon, Ghana, Senegal, and Gambia are all successful African nations.

Are you actually serious. North Africans were surrounded by hostile forces for most of history. The mauluks of Egypt had to face off against the fricking mongol empire. Europeans were actively trying to retake the North Africa back from the muslims. The only reason Africa was not invaded was because the Sahara desert cut them off. Nobody is sending their military across the Sahara from the North. They basically had complete freedom to develop their countries with no interference till the transatlantic slave trade where people from US and Latin American begun their slave trade of sub Sahara Africa . No hate but they had amazing geography and security to build empires for a long time.

Did you watch the video at all? Go ahead and watch it again, you seemed to not have understood it.

Look at where the majority of North Africa's population is situated... Oh, shocker, the Coastal parts... which has access to trade networks and water systems for travel.

I don't think it has much to do with IQ, rather it's because of society. The global north has a vast history of settled societies and continual war that led to cultural diffusion. A lot of sub-Saharan Africa was simply isolated
